The date of 2nd April designates World Autism Awareness Day established by ONU 9 years ago. Globally, during this day, organizations which promote and support the cause of the people who suffer from autism, they organize events meant to emphasize the trouble with autism and to raise the level of fitting in society of those who suffer from this disorder.
The Schedule prepared by the Romanian Angel Appeal for World Autism Awareness Day:
1. During 31 March- 2April at Hollywood Multiplex, Vitan Mall, takes place the mini-festival on the autism theme “Beautiful Minds Days” being on the second edition, meant to pinpoint the matter of the people who suffer from autism.

The mini-festival is part of Empathetic Campaign organized within the Project “MASPA- Measures for promoting the non-discrimination and social inclusion in school, community, and in the work environment for people with autism, with an accent on frame communities”-commenced on 8 April 2015, running for 13 months, with the financial support of the program RO10-CORAI, financed from SEE 2009-2014 and ministered by the Romanian Fund of Social Development.
2. As in every year, we’re joining the international campaign “Light It Up Blue” through the blue illumination of important institutions and through the set-up of public and awareness events.
In Bucharest, with the support of Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation and FEDRA will be illuminated in blue in the evening of 2 April between 9 pm and 12 am The Parliament, Victory Palace, Arch of Triumph, and The Bucharest National Theatre.
3. On 2nd April, together with partner organizations FEDRA, families of kids and youngsters with autism and cause supporters, we will participate starting at 12 pm at the mitting and the solidarity march according to the next schedule:
Within this march, info flyers will be shared and the wide public is to be invited to find out more about people who suffer from autism.
4. On 3 April, Romanian Angel Appeal supports the cause of autism along with the volunteers who will run for this within the event organized by Bucharest Running Club Association http://www.raa.ro/sustine-cauza-autismului-pe-3-aprilie-la-10kfamily-run/
The march and the participation at the Bucharest Running Club event taking place within the project “Together we are a voice” implemented by Romanian Angel Appeal foundation and FEDRA during 1 August 2013- 31 July 2016 and co-financed with a grant from Switzerland mediated through Swiss Contribution for extended European Union.
