The website www.raa.ro belongs to the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation – Apelul Îngerului Român (hereinafter referred to as the Operator).

Personal data collected during your visit to our site are processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and only to the extent that data processing is required. Data processing is done with your consent.

 

Collecting and processing data when accessing the web page

Every time you visit www.raa.ro, we will automatically collect certain data during browsing and store it in a file called the “server log”. These are the collected data: date and time of access, page address, IP address, browser type and user agent, operating system used, URL source (previously visited), and URLs for the page that is accessed immediately after www.raa.ro, the amount of data transmitted and the status message indicating whether the request was successful.

These data are exclusively used by the Operator for technical or statistical purposes of maintenance or platform optimization. IP address storage is only temporary, while accessing; personal information collected about the expiration of access or other uses are erased immediately or after its termination. Subsequent use of data and, in particular, IP address as part of the statistical analysis is made anonymous, with the IP address being shortened. When there is a suspicion of illegal use or technical risks for platform safety, the Operator reserves the right to evaluate existing data for defence purposes.

If you contact us through the contact form on the site or by e-mail, you are implicitly agreeing to data and information being stored for processing your request and for follow-up.

 

Newsletter

If you have registered on www.raa.ro, you will automatically receive periodically a newsletter by e-mail with information about events and activity. You can opt-out of receiving these messages at any time by clicking on the link at the end of your newsletter email to unsubscribe. You can also return to the request to receive the newsletter in the future by replenishing the form available on the site.

The newsletter is sent through the MailChimp service. Your name and email address are stored securely in MailChimp so that other MailChimp or third-party clients do not have access to them. The data are only used by the Operator to send newsletters.

 

Integration of Third Party Services and Content

The www.raa.rosite may incorporate content from third parties and other sites, such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics. This always implies that content providers process the IP address so that you can view that content. The Operator does not assume responsibility for data processing by content providers. We recommend you to inform yourself about their privacy and personal data processing policy.

 

Formulation

If you want to participate in events or sign up for a campaign or other activity organized by the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation – Apelul Îngerului Român, when you sign up on the site, fill out a form in which can be requested your name, e-mail address, phone number and other personal information. By completing and submitting the registration form you agree that the Operator will use this data. The use of these data will be strictly in accordance with the purpose for which they were transmitted and will be deleted or anonymized (for statistical processing) within a maximum of 90 days or otherwise, depending on the specific or legal specifications.
