Multidisciplinary support for tuberculosis patients
Throughout the duration of hospital admission but also the administration in outpatient treatment, to cure patients with tuberculosis need psychological support, and social assistance to be helped to better withstand the adverse effects of medication and to be oriented in accessing rights.
Four hospitals from Bucharest, Arges, Neamt and Maramures, which treats patients with tuberculosis, are offering medical services, psycho-social assistance for people with TB and their families.
The services are free and provided by medical experts, psychologists and social workers.
