The Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation supports the legal regulation of the Rooms of Drug Advice and Consumption since 2015 when it collaborated with Carusel to elaborate the Feasibility Study on Drug Use Rooms.
In addition, the international conducted studies claim that along with syringe exchange and the setting up of consumer rooms is one of the most effective public health measures to reduce the risks associated with injecting drug use, especially when talking about HIV infection or hepatitis. B and C.
Today, more than 40 organizations, including the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation, joined Carusel’s initiative for the bill that proposes to amend and complete Law 143/2000 on the prevention and combating of illicit drug trafficking and consumption in order to establish the Chambers Counseling and Drug-Estimated Consumption.
