HIV/AIDS was a fact kept in silence in Romania of the ’80s which in the ’90s has came out to light through an avalanche of images, terrifying stories and uncovered needs of the medical system.
Recent studies show that HIV/AIDS still represents a serious problem in our country and still require financial and human resources for prevention, care and treatment of the epidemic among vulnerable populations and also for social and professional integration of people living with this illness.
