LOT Drug – Prevention and reduction of drug use among young people is a project initiated by Romanian Angel Appeal in 2004 as part of a series of European projects dedicated to young people. The primary objective is to prevent and reduce drug use and its effects among schoolchildren and young people.

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Romania (www.globalfund.ro) – The Global Fund, is an international financial organization whose activity is based on a strategic partnership between governmental institutions, civil society, private sector and communities affected by the three epidemics of major impact on the general population health.

The program Prevention of mother-to-child transmission – intervention in rural areas was implemented in 2004 and 2005 with the goal to carry out efficient activities for education and HIV/AIDS prevention in 12 rural communities, involving local networks of family doctors.

The project “First steps towards independence” started in September 2006 and is still going on as part of a series of social projects that Romanian Angel Appeal implements in the benefit of people with disabilities or chronic diseases at high risk of discrimination or social exclusion.

The program for scaling up the “Sunflower” Day Clinics Network was launched in 1991 and concluded in December 2008, being currently integrates into the public health system.

The SEYPA Program (Combating Social Exclusion of Young People Affected by HIV/AIDS) was initiated by the European Forum on HIV/AIDS, Children, Young People and Families and ran by Romania Angel Appeal.
