The war in Ukraine is expected to generate more than 5 million refugees. It’s too big a number to imagine, but it’s the number of people who will be in direct need of our help, all of us. We are deeply concerned about the health and safety of the vulnerable in times of war: refugees, children, single mothers and women, the disabled and the sick. We are already witnessing massive movements of people fleeing major cities to Romania, and as this tragic situation unfolds, access to healthcare will be put at risk in an already strained health system, while the educational system will receive a new challenge – the integration and inclusion of children from Ukraine
Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation joins the efforts to help Ukrainian refugees! The Humanitarian Intervention Fund aims to support the frontline organizations working directly with suffering people coming from Ukraine to Romania, assisting the refugees with medical and social care. We are partners in social, medical and educational endeavours.
RAA is a recognized accountable organisation that for more than 30 years, is managing international funds, supporting Romanian organisations to meet the health and social needs of tens of thousands of vulnerable people.
We raise money to make sure that people on the front line have everything they need to do well – whether it’s direct purchases of sanitary supplies, perishables, support through much-needed medical services in these difficult times, social services or educational support. We are with them together! You can donate by bank transfer to one of our accounts, mentioning UKRAINE.
WARNING! Large donations coming from abroad are recommended to be made directly by bank transfer.
