👩‍🏫 Recently the teachers enrolled in the project from the “Alexandru cel Bun” Gymnasium School from Berzunți, one of the partner schools in the project, facilitated the first activity in which the 4th grade students and a group of preschoolers were involved.

🤝🏻 Together with their teachers, the students paid a visit to their colleagues from Dragomir School no. 2 (a school with a predominantly Roma student population). They gave as a gift the “fruits of friendship” and shared them with their colleagues.

💞 The activity scheduled for that date was “Tolerance Tree”. The aim of the activity was to discuss tolerance and inclusion in school. The activity was full of emotion and stories created by children – some real, some imaginary (maybe), stories and facts by which children have shown that they can be very tolerant and understanding with their peers, when the environment is favorable and secure. The children were involved in role-playing games, having the opportunity to demonstrate that they understood the notion and essence of the word “tolerance”.

🌳At the end of the activity, the participants created a “Tree of Tolerance” made up of their thoughts and feelings. Teachers made it easier for children to learn and get to know each other, so that it was easier for both schoolchildren to tell stories about themselves and to get to know others, thus encouraging diversity and trust. The activity took into account civic, social and linguistic skills.
