INTERNATIONAL TRAINING FOR IMPROVING ONLINE TEACHING SKILLS (MARCH 2022, ROMANIA, JUNE 2022, NORWAY)


If you have a good command of English and you are:

  • A teachers willing to learn more and to improve his/her online teaching
  • Motivated to participate in co-creation of learning materials for the teaching community
  • Interested in developing your skills as a trainer and willing to share your learning with your peers and be involved in a community of practitioners
  • Available to travel and to participate in training activities with teachers and trainers from other countries and possess a good command of English

We are looking for current primary and secondary school teachers willing to participate in a training and piloting program at the end of which the participants will have increased competencies in using dynamic and interactive online teaching methods.

We are selecting 4 participants from Romania, that will participate along with teachers from Norway, France and Spain, in an international training program containing two face to face modules of five days.   

  • The first training session will be organized in Sinaia, Romania during 11th – 15th of March 2022 and will cover topics related to building self-confidence for online communication, presentation and social skills, managing online classrooms by increasing student engagement and motivation to learn. Transversally, you will experiment gamification and assessment tools.
  • The second training session will be organized in Norway during 27th June 1st of July 2022 and will cover key gamification elements, instructional design techniques and online evaluation.

At the end of the training program you will be involved in co-creation and dissemination of a series of online learning tools for teachers, meaning:

  • Will be able to pilot what you learned during the training with at least 20 students and 12 teaching peers.
  • Will co-facilitate a webinar, aimed at increasing the skills of 50 teachers, on one of the project thematic areas: presentations skills, interactivity skills, gamification, instructional design, feedback and assessment.

The participation costs to the two training modules (travel, accommodation, meals and training materials) will be covered by the project through Erasmus+ participation funding.

The project Quality Essential Skills for Teachers in Online Learning (QUEST) – funded under the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership for School Education program is implemented by the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation, Newschool — an instructional design company from Norway, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Succubus Interactive – a specialised serious game design company from France, and Nicolae Grigorescu National College from Romania. The project aims to improve the competencies of mainstream teachers from primary and secondary educational levels in using digital learning in education.

During the project a series of 5 eLearning modules tackling essential competencies for quality online learning (online presence, interaction & dialogue, gamification, instructional design, feedback & assessment) will be developed in collaboration by the 5 partners.
